Bellydance

Today I would share an ambition that I have for this year. Since some time (two years or a little more), I practice the Arabic Dance in an Academy, every week. I find a beauty place in the dance. I discovered that is a difficult experience, but, not only for the discipline that you need (and the movements or dissociations), also is for other things… I think that one has many secrets or repressed things that expresses in our body and in our movements, so, if you practice dance, you need confront your own ghost that are part of our life, but is some that can’t to talk or express with the language.

The bellydance (or any dance really), need too much discipline, too much dissociation, too much body control and too much elongation. So, I was started knowing nothing, with my body very rigid, but now, I could develop myself slowly, though I’m very far to be an expert. For this reason I try to be best, so I take class of yoga (for my elongation) and ballet (for my posture and elongation). All this for improve myself in Arabic dance.

So, my ambition is to progress and be better, because I learned to love this beauty type of dance. And thanks to this dance, I’m in salsa and tango, because a learned to love the dance in general.

Today I will talk about my favorite Chilean poet. His name is Gonzalo Rojas. This poet was born in 1916 and he died a few years ago (in 2011). He studied law and literature in the University of Chile, he was a teacher to.  He was recognized for his work in all Latin American, and he was awarded with the national literature prize (in 1992), Cervantes prize (in 2003), and others, but I think, Rojas deserved nobel prize for literature.  

I think his poetry is extraordinary, is very beauty and simple though sometimes is complicated to. I love his poetry because, with simple words through his poetry, Gonzalo Rojas express and transmit many emotions.

Rojas wrote about many things in his work, for example, about politics, about life, about love and  heartbreak, even about silence or darkness. So, his work also has a lot observation about the thing of life and environment. He died in his 98 years, was considered an influential poet for Latin American, also, his poetry has been translated in many idioms.

My favorite poems of him are “Al silencio” “qué se ama cuando se ama” “Retrato de mujer”, and many others really… 

Good technology

My favourite piece of Technology is my cell phone, but in the good sense of the communication.

I have an iPhone cell, because my oldest brother gave me the last year. Before, I had a typical cell phone. Of course I have other piece of technology like my mp3 or my photographic camera but, I think that the cell phone gather all these things.

I like this cell because I can to communicate quickly with my family or friends and besides, I can to use it for many things and I can to install many apps (dropbox, games, “paraderos.cl”, among others). I think that is very useful when I need an address or a map.

Also I like because the cell have a good photographic camera, because I always take nice photos. With my cell I can to listen to the music, and I love the music. All these things in a just one object.  

Sometime the technology is very invasive. For example, when I need be alone or I don’t want to be or talk with anyone, the cell is very disagreeably, so in this case I put it in “plane mode”. But well, the things have positives and negatives elements.

Rex

This picture is very special. The name of picture is “Rex”. Is a photo of a drawing that made my younger sister Sofía, when she was four years old (now she have five years old). The drawing is in the room of my sister.

Rex is our dog, we love him!! Sofía is a little and pretty girl, she loves animals, specially the dogs. So, Rex is very important for her. Rex is a big dog, he have a fourteen years old, is very old and I think that he is very tired, is the black color.

Sofía think that Rex is the best dog in all the world, because he's a very loving dog. He knows Sofía since your birth, he always take care of her and she feels this.

Rex is a very special for my family, is a important part of my family, for example, he has always slept in the house (inside of house), he understand everything because is very intelligent.  

Well, Sofía loves him so much, and is very sad because, with my family we think that Rex will die in a few years or monds, because he is very old and Sofía will miss him a lot :(

Uruguay

The last place that I visited was Uruguay. I visited this country in March of this year. I liked so
much because the people are very sweet and agreeable. I was in Montevideo, it is a little and
beautiful city.  I visited many beaches in Uruguay, many parks, and I meet the great “Centenario stadium” (belonging to “Peñarol” football team).

I went to other beaches in Uruguay, for example “Punta del Diablo”, a town of fishers, very
quiet, and the water was very calm and tepid.

I also went to “Cabo Polonio”, a silent and quiet place and has not electric light, but have a
lighthouse very high that was in the extreme of the beach. I think that this was the best place
that I visited of Uruguay.
All this places I visited in low season and few people, so we were had the beaches for us.
